frequently asked questions

how are your services different?

Most functional practitioners are 1. Expensive and 2. Quick to recommend expensive testing. I can order tests for you if you’d like, but my approach is very foundational. I believe that a balanced diet combined with careful supplementation and healthy lifestyle practices can eliminate many problems, without having to spend $1000’s on testing.

what are your credentials?

I have been a certified holistic health coach / nutritionist since 2020. I’ve owned my own supplement businesses since 2019 and have worked closely with clients since then. I have also been trained to interpret HTMA tests, in addition to my certification from Judith Hill for medical astrology. I certainly never claim to know everything - I'm always learning!I am not a doctor or healthcare provider. My services are intended to be for informational and educational purposes only.

can you guarantee results?

I am not a medical provider and I cannot guarantee results in any capacity, whether that’s referring to diet, lifestyle or supplement recommendations. Your healing power is ultimately in your hands, and you get to decide how you want to implement my recommendations. Everybody is different and everybody responds to treatments differently, so guarantees cannot be made.

how much hair is needed for the HTMA test?

The thought of chopping off your hair can be terrifying (trust me, I know), but the amount needed for HTMA is minimal - you won't even notice it's gone. For reference, we'll need about 1 teaspoon of hair, starting at the root.

how accurate is HTMA?

Not all hair tests are created equal. It's important to note that the lab I work with, Trace Elements, is considered to be the gold standard in the industry. They ensure proper sample handling, they never wash samples with chemicals, and they are frequently audited by different organizations to ensure quality. That being said, there are some contamination risks (that are addressed in the sample collection instructions), but if done correctly, a Trace Element's HTMA test is considered to be very accurate.

is one HTMA test enough, or do I need to do re-tests?

Depending on the results of your first test, re-testing may be recommended. If we are working on multiple imbalances, it would be ideal to re-test about 3 months following the initial test, to track your progress. Re-tests are cheaper than initial tests.

how soon will I see improvements?

After implementing some simple diet, lifestyle and supplement changes, most people notice that they feel better very quickly, within 1-2 weeks. For more severe imbalances, it can take 1-3 years to see large improvements, but symptoms tend to gradually get better over the first year.

what information is needed for a wellness astrology report?

I'll need your birth date, birth location, and birth time - an exact time is preferred, but as long as the time you provide is within 2 hours of accuracy, I can create a report for you.

will you provide recommendations based on my astrology chart?

Your wellness astrology report is meant to be for educational and entertainment purposes only. I prefer to make recommendations within a coaching session or following functional testing. This report is not to be used as medical advice.*

what is your refund policy?

Due to the time-consuming nature of my services, I am unable to provide refunds after deliverables have been received. The only instance when a refund is possible, is before an initial session has been scheduled, before I have started working on any recommendations for you.
